My
pictures are based on observational drawing of the landscape,
especially gardens.
The garden represents humankind's search for the divine.
For many the garden is an attempt to have a small glimpse
of heaven here on earth.
Many of the works on this site are drawings of invented
gardens. Over recent years my concerns
have become increasingly interested in the formal problems
of picture making.
With regard to the measurements given height precedes
width.
All measurements given are image size not paper or framed
size.
